Workshop on energy and resource efficiency in Manufacturing

Workshop:

The Joint German-Australian Research Group “Sustainable Manufacturing and Life Cycle Management” hosted a workshop on energy and resource efficiency in Manufacturing on June 8th, 2011 at the UNSW in Sydney.

Based on the work of the Joint German Australian Research Group, this workshop aimed at stakeholders from industry and research for giving an overview on the latest research on energy and resource efficiency in manufacturing. Besides speakers and guests from academia and industry also the German Consule-General in Sydney, Mr. Hans-Günter Gnodtke attended the workshop after he had already visited the opening ceremony in Sydney in February, 2010. The workshop as well as the Joint German Australian Research Group are funded by the German Federal Ministry of education and research (BMBF).
