Opening Seminar of Joint Research Group took place at TU Braunschweig in January, 2010
On January 18th 2010 the official Opening Seminar for the Joint German-Australian Research Group took place at the Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology (IWF) at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Different high-ranked speakers stressed the importance and necessity of international collaboration especially in the field of “Sustainable Manufacturing and Life Cycle Management”. Furthermore the Joint German Australian Research Group with its history, structure and running as well as planned activities was introduced by PD Dr.-Ing. Christoph Herrmann and Assoc. Prof. Sami Kara. The successful event was completed by a lab tour where selected research topics were presented more in detail.
